Launching a boat startup to a national dealer-distributor partnership.

Brand identity, website, trail maps, apparel, photography, and growth marketing across three Up North locations.
A seasonal startup cannot wait a quarter for a brand kit. We embedded as Ride Leelanau's marketing team, shipped the full launch in one month, and have scaled the brand through every location since.
Dozens earned in the first month following launch, and building year-over-year.
No. 2 by the second month of operation, No. 1 by the second season.
Suttons Bay, Traverse City, and a Grand Beach Resort pickup point.
Everything a new rental brand needed before peak season, and every year after.
Ride Leelanau was bringing e-bike rentals to Suttons Bay, a small harbor town in Michigan's Grand Traverse Region, and needed everything at once: a brand, a website, print collateral, apparel, and a social presence, all built and launched before peak tourism season. The brand had to be lively enough to stop the adventure-curious in their tracks and credible enough to convert first-timers into five-star customers in a single ride.
The stakes didn't end at launch. Ride Leelanau opened a second storefront in Traverse City and struck a resort partnership for a third pickup point, with a product lineup growing alongside. Every new mile brought its own maps and photography to keep pace. The company needed a partner invested enough to grow with it, not just fast enough to launch it.
Brand identity, website, trail maps, apparel, photography, and growth marketing across three Up North locations.
We started in 2022 with the logo, an electrifying visual identity that matched the brand's energy, and a wine tour photoshoot that captured the Leelanau Peninsula's sun-soaked spirit. From there, we built an intuitive website, print collateral, an apparel lineup, and social media platforms. Dozens of five-star reviews arrived in the first month, and by the second, Ride Leelanau ranked No. 2 in local search. That ranking has since climbed to No. 1 in both local search and maps.
When the nearly 5,000-square-foot Traverse City flagship opened in 2026, putting sales, rentals, and service under one roof, we rebuilt the map suite for each location, with a refreshed Leelanau Trail map for Suttons Bay, a Traverse City Trails map for the flagship, and an East Bay map for the Grand Beach Resort pickup point. We shot new lifestyle photography and designed a summer apparel drop to match. Four years in, we remain the team behind every new product, new location, and new adventure.
