CHALLENGE
Shoot a full culinary menu to corporate brand standards, on location, without losing the restaurant’s unique atmosphere.
AHC Hospitality brought us in to produce culinary photography for their Ruth's Chris Steak House location inside the Amway Grand Plaza. The photos would live on tablets at every table and needed to meet Ruth's Chris corporate brand specifications. The timeline was tight, the bar was high, and the work had to feel like the restaurant rather than a studio.
APPROACH
Coordinate, shoot, edit, and deliver a complete culinary library in two weeks.
We worked directly with AHC's Art Director and Marketing Managers throughout pre-production, then coordinated with kitchen and bar staff to shoot every menu item on-site in a single engagement. Keeping the shoot in the restaurant preserved the lighting, texture, and atmosphere that generic culinary photography misses.
Post-production was designed to reflect the experience a patron would have, with consistent food and drink presentation, moodier elevated lighting, and meticulous retouching on every dish and cocktail, from spot-cleaning stray food details to manual masking for precise color correction to meet Ruth’s Chris brand specifications. Final assets were formatted for tablet display and delivered within two weeks.
